So recently I've been contemplating joining the military. I've always wanted to do something more with my life and live amazing experiences. I had thought about it before but just recently I've been talking to my local recruiter and I know it's for sure something I'm going to do. I'm not signing up just yet because I want to spend at least a semester and I want to give myself some time to get physically fit and emotionally ready. For the next few months I will be focusing largely on my fitness and getting stronger! I know I need to continue to eat healthy as well, with fitness comes nutrition! Wish me luck!

Here's a little picture update from where I'm at right now! Not where I want to be at all, but it's not the worst. Oh and I got a new tattoo by the way haha

So it's definitely been some time since I've blogged. I've been on and off with dieting and exercising as usual. I started a new job at a yoga place so I get free yoga now which has been fun! It being summer and all I've been going out every night and just eating horribly! It's disgusting actually. I got fed up with it so I stopped, got myself a gym membership and am committed (for now) to losing ten pounds before I go off to school which I have exactly 30 days! I've been eating well and working out so I'm hoping for the best! The other morning I weighed in at 138.1 so I want to be 130 when I leave for school! Wish me luck(:

So I am officially done with the military diet since yesterday was day three! It really wasn't even bad at all. If you're looking to lose weight fast for an event I would definitely suggest this diet then. I woke up this morning to weigh myself: I started at 138.7lbs and when I weighed myself after day three I weighed in at 135.7lbs!!! I lost three pounds in three days! I'm thinking about doing this diet starting March for spring break. So this has given me new inspiration to begin eating healthy and not gain those three pounds back. I feel great!

So yesterday wasn't very hard actually. After each meal I was full, it was just waiting between meals because I'm so use to snacking. I'm making dinner right now for day two! It's not too bad, the only thing I hated was I had to eat cottage cheese for lunch...found out I hate it! That was probably the most difficult thing. Still am feeling pretty full after each meal though. Tomorrow will probably be tough though because I won't be eating much at all, but it's the last day! Ill keep you posted(:

So I found this three day military diet on the Internet. Apparently you can lose like ten pounds in three days. I know I won't lose ten pounds but I thought why not give it a try? I mean it's only three days and hopefully it'll teach me will power. You have to eat everything on the list and you can't cheat at all because these foods work together to burn fat. I'm on day one and so far it's not bad. I felt full after breakfast and lunch...now I'm on the long stretch to dinner. I posted a picture if you guys are interested(: ill keep you up to date the next two days!

So I picked up this book a couple years back and I remembering it being super helpful! I've dusted it off the shelf and began reading it again. It gives some great advice and pretty much everything you need to know about boosting your metabolism and different exercises to do. I feel like I've lost zero weight which is extremely fusterating because I've been working out a lot. I know it's because my diet hasn't been religious and so I got this book an started tracking everything I eat on an app for my phone. Hoping to lose 2lbs by the next weigh in!!

So I've been very dedicated to my workout and I think I have that down pat. The only thing is I really need to start eating healthier. I feel hungry but I know it's just because I'm bored. This week I'm going to really focus on my diet and eating vegetables and healthy meals!

So today was weigh in....I am 137.3. I'm guessing this is because I have gained muscle because of the strength training and protein shakes. Also it's that time of month and middle of the day. I took a picture though and there's a bit of a difference. I can definitely feel a difference and I feel stronger. My goal for next weigh in is 134lbs. So a month to lose 3lbs sounds reasonable. Ultimately I want to get down to 125lbs, but I'm really just looking to feel better and are myself as better so its not too much about the scale!

So these past two weeks I've worked out 6 days a week. I've also have been taking my protein shake after each workout. I've been combining that shake with bananas and frozen fruit to make a smoothie as my lunch. I feel better, haven't really seen much of a difference yet. Also, the scale doesn't seem to be on my side because its saying I'm gaining weight? I'm hoping that's just muscle and the fact I'm bloated. I'm gonna stick with it though until I see results. I've got the exercising part down but I think I need to stricken up my diet. Lastly, I just signed up for the Detroit Free Press half-marathon so this gives me something to train for! Can't wait!!
